Beech 1900D
The 19-seat Beech 1900D turboprop airliner operates in select Essential Air Service markets, in New Mexico as Mesa Airlines and US Airways Express in select markets throughout the country. The 1900D is an efficient and reliable means of getting people where they need to go.The 1900D is certified to fully meet the commuter category requirements of FAR Part 23 through Amendment 34. This pressurized, twin-engine turboprop was designed using fail-safe principles for improved safety and reliability. Metal bonding and composite technology are used extensively to save weight, reduce maintenance, and enhance aerodynamic smoothness. The 71" by 54" square-oval stand-up cabin is sound insulated and pressurized to 5.0 psi (Sea Level cabin up to 11,000 feet) and has seating for up to 19 passengers. |
