Birgir Haraldsson joined Mesa Air Group in November 2003 as the East Coast Regional Director of Maintenance. Mr. Haraldsson was promoted in June 2007 to Director of Maintenance for Freedom Airlines, Inc. Prior to joining Mesa Airlines, Mr. Haraldsson worked as a mechanic for Icelandair, Manager of Maintenance Control for ProAir Airlines, Line Maintenance Supervisor and Manager of Quality Control for US Airways. Mr. Haraldsson received his A&P license from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach FL., where he also attained a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Technology, Associate Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Avionics Technology.
