I began my flying career with Mesa Airlines on July 10, 1995. I started on the Beech 1900 in Dubois, Pennsylvania. I became an instructor while still a first officer and continued in the training department as a Captain on the Beech 1900 and become a PC Check Airman, Line Check Airman and a Designated Examiner to give type rides. I was asked to be part of the initial cadre on the EMB-145 for Mesa Airlines and continued on as a flight instructor. I also became a PC Check Airman, Line Check Airman, Designated Examiner, and Operating Experience Observer on the EMB-145. I served as the Chief Flight Instructor on the EMB-145 until becoming the Certificate ChiefPilot for Freedom Airlines in April of 2008.
Prior to joining Mesa Airlines I initially was a Certified Public Accountant and worked as an Auditor and in the Tax Department for the Accounting Firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells. After receiving my Juris Doctorate degree I practiced in both Corporate and Tax Law for medium size law firms.
I graduated from Duquesnes University in 1984 with a degree in Accounting and Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in1989 with a Juris Doctorate.
