Ryan joined Mesa in January of 2000 as a First Officer on the Beech 1900D and then transitioned to EMB-145 Captain. Ryan has held several
management positions starting as Regional Chief Pilot for Mesa Airlines before transitioning to the Assistant Chief Pilot and then the Chief
Pilot at Freedom Airlines. Ryan has also held the position of Check Airman for the simulator and line operations on the EMB-145.
Prior to joining Mesa, Ryan served in the US Navy and as a Flight Instructor/Charter Pilot in Northern West Virginia
