Canadian-based Bombardier, Inc. manufactures both the Canadair Regional Jet and the deHavilland Dash 8-200 Series aircraft. The Canadair Regional Jet is a 50-passenger airliner that provides superior operating efficiencies to the smaller market operator. The aircraft, powered by high performance General Electric CF34-3B1 engines, flies at speeds of over 500 miles per hour with a cruising altitude of up to 41,000 feet. This jet airliner can service routes up to 2,000 nautical miles.
